Testing-stage notice

PlanWise is currently a product under development in the Netherlands, operated by Yu-Chan Lin and Yiyu Chen, not a generally available commercial service. These terms may change as the product moves toward a wider release. Contact alin3968@gmail.com or yiyuc0124@gmail.com with questions.

What PlanWise does

PlanWise suggests local activities, restaurants, and events, checks whether they fit your available time, and helps you build a realistic day plan. PlanWise is not the event organizer, venue, booking agent, map provider, or calendar provider, and it does not process bookings or payments. See Providers and estimates for what is fixed, estimated, or unknown in any suggestion.

No guarantee of accuracy

PlanWise is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Suggested activities, prices, durations, travel times, and opening hours may be estimated, incomplete, or wrong. Always verify important details with the original provider before relying on a plan, travelling, or making a purchase.

Your responsibilities

  • Use PlanWise only for lawful, personal day-planning purposes.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to PlanWise or the external services it queries.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity or submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes another person's rights.
  • Keep your own device and Google account access secure; PlanWise does not control third-party account security.

Third-party services

PlanWise uses Google Calendar, Ticketmaster, Google Maps Platform, and Vercel hosting to operate. Each is governed by its own terms and privacy notice, which PlanWise does not control. See Privacy for how information is handled and which providers receive it.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PlanWise and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, PlanWise, including missed events, incorrect travel timing, or reliance on estimated or provider data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Netherlands law.

Account foundation, no durable storage yet

PlanWise offers optional email sign-in only to validate its account foundation. It does not yet save plans, sync Taste Profile data, or upload browser-local data merely because you sign in. Your active plan remains session-local and can be lost on tab closure or a new deployment. See Privacy for the current storage model.

Changes and availability

PlanWise may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time during this testing stage, including provider integrations and supported cities. These terms may be updated as the product changes; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless a mandatory consumer- protection law of your country of residence provides otherwise.
